Background:
In many regions of South Sudan, especially Upper Nile, literacy rates remain critically low due to decades of conflict, lack of infrastructure, and government neglect. SSYR recognizes that empowering youth through literacy is essential to building a democratic, just, and peaceful nation.
Objective:
To provide community-based literacy and education support to youth aged 12–30 in remote and underserved areas of South Sudan.
